The Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is again running its annual National Red-Tape Survey for 2014 with two major prizes on offer this year. The survey is designed to provide your Chamber Network with information on what issues and challenges are currently facing businesses in Australia in relation to regulatory burden and will be used in promoting change for business.
The Small Business Minister, the Hon Bruce Billson MP, has recently approached members of the Small Business Ministerial Advisory Council (SBMAC) to survey businesses on their experiences of regulatory burden to help develop Government policy. Feedback from ACCI’s Red-Tape survey will be fed directly back to the Minister for developing the Government’s deregulation agenda to rid businesses of $1 billion of red tape per year.
To help foster businesses valued input to this important survey there are two prizes on offer. The ACCI member business with the best example of red-tape will be awarded a Google Nexus 7 Tablet kindly donated by Google Australia. The small business owner with the most egregious red tape example from the entire SBMAC network will be awarded the major prize being an invitation to attend dinner with the Small Business Minister to discuss their deregulation ideas.
